The Ancient Paths - Episode 89: The Souls of Your Children (Pt I)
This is the eighty-ninth episode of "The Ancient Paths" Christian television program, hosted by Pastor Jason Wallace. In this episode, Pastor Wallace discusses some of the most costly consequences of the modern evangelical church's lack of faithfulness to Biblical principles and folly in areas such as altar calls and public education. "The Ancient Paths" airs Wednesday nights at 8 pm on KTMW-TV20, a station that is available in Utah and parts of surrounding states. The problem with Mr. Allred's utilization of the Margaret Barker materials is it requires a view of scripture which Jesus did not hold. I have not read any of Barker's books, but it seems the view she is presenting is one quite common in liberal unbelieving scholarship where each book of the Bible presents "different theologies" and it is up to modern scholars redacting the text in order to ascertain it's true meaning, because heaven knows it cannot be the traditional meaning!
