The word God...The word god means "ruler." The word God means "divine ruler." Jesus is the Son of God, the Son of the divine ruler of the house of Israel, known as Jehovah, in the Old Testament. He was sent by Elohim, the Father, to do his will, which he did.

This is in accord with the doctrine of the new dispensation (the dispensation of the fullness of times), which also informs us that Jesus and all of the Father's children, were co-eternal with their heavenly parents; that is, none of them are created beings.

This doctrine has been corrupted in the old dispensation.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01094001191771648838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5228154989873290754.post-85152073435477485672013-01-30T17:53:06.031-07:002013-01-30T17:53:06.031-07:00Does anybody ever watch this site or leave comment...Does anybody ever watch this site or leave comments?

Questions:

1) Does it make sense to compare the doctrine of a corrupt dispensation of the gospel to that of a new dispensation, to see if the new conforms to the corrupt?

Of course not. The doctrine of the old dispensation is corrupted by creeds and the precepts of men, wherein the fear of God is taught by means of them.

This has caused many to err in spirit and to murmur, but the deaf have heard the words of the book and the blind have seen out of obscurity and out of darkness, making it possible for those who erred in spirit to come to understanding and those who murmured to learn true doctrine.

That book is the Book of Mormon and that understanding is the plan of salvation and that doctrine is the LDS doctrine.

Good works are required of the Savior: He said, "Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God." (Rev 3:2) "For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye?..."Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."

Striving for perfection is keeping the commandment of Christ, who died for us. We must keep his commandments.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01094001191771648838noreply@blogger.com
